In-Progress 1

Placing selective shots and altered repeats of familiar sequences makes this video visually more interesting. Limiting the colors used may be a good way to edit this as to to make a more clear, less confusing presentation.

In-Progress 2

Adding selective color and a few extra image sequences helps further the idea behind this video. A few more alterations in the sequence could help make this video more cohesive.

.Small View of an Accelerated Scenery.

Encapsulating the scene outside of the Milwuakee city bus into a small area gives the illusion of moving at an accelerated rate. As the picture passes quickly the viewer must wonder what else there is to see as well as what they have just seen. The selectivity is interesting and I would like to see it in reverse and on a different color scale.

Distorting Ideals: Vision of a Minority

A collage of picture, video, and text which questions and presents an individual idea of a perfect world which is in turn often disrupted by things out of their control. Selective coloring and more repeats could provide an effective and intersting atmosphere.

Energy In Contained Motion

A representation of energy and light in a contained motion. As the beam of light expands out of containment it remains relatively stable. Camera motion is used to intensify the scene and parallel mechanical and natural motion.
The tint and structure of the light, as well as the camera movement, are strong qualities of the video. Audio would give greater interest and excitement.

Confusion of an Acquaintance and the Decision to...

Story of a complicated decision. Images representative of confusion.
The quick frame jumps and abundant lights are attention grabbing. Using a different color scale on the final shot is an edit that may be applied.

The Motion/Extension of Light

What the human eye is unaware of.
Not having the light in the center of the frame is key to this video. Editing this shot is an allusive idea.

Strategy #1

The first strategy that I will employ on this trek is to document images that combine nature and man made artifacts such as a building and the sky or trees. This could be as subtle as wind blowing a flag or as obvious as a statue with a bird perched upon it.
Strategy #2

The second strategy I will employ on my trek to document visual images, by way of either video or still picture, is to capture images only when the camera or the object is in motion.
